Gianna’s waffles are incredibly delicious! They taste better than the best cinnamon buns you’ve ever had!

1 cup flour
1-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter

In medium bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, vanilla, and melted butter.
Pour wet ingredients to the dry and whisk just until blended (not too much)

Butter or spray waffle maker with cooking spray (only do this the first time)
Use large cookie scoop to drop batter into waffle maker
Set timer for 4 minutes, or until waffle is golden brown

Serve with a drizzle of cream cheese icing, or maple syrup

Cream Cheese Icing

4 tablespoons (half a stick) butter, melted
1/4 c. (2 ounces) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4-6 tablespoons milk

In a medium bowl, mix butter and cream cheese until well combined
Stir in powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk
Drizzle icing over waffles and serve warm
