Dominic had a day off school, so he decided to get creative again and make these donuts in the Dash Mini Donut Maker. Everyone loved them!

Donuts

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Applesauce
  • 2 tbsp Butter, Melted
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Cinnamon/Sugar

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a mini-donut pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Stir in milk, applesauce, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  4. Fill donut pan with batter and bake for 7-8 minutes.
  5. Allow donuts to cool on a wire rack.
  6. Mix together 1 cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon until combined.
  7. In a separate bowl, melt 1/2 cup butter.
  8. Dunk a donut in melted butter then toss both sides in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Repeat with remaining donuts.
