For a medium loaf:
3 c. bread flour (430 grams)
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 T. dry milk
1 1/2 T. sugar
1 1/2 T. butter, cut up
egg and milk to equal 1 – 1/4 c.
1 t. dry yeast
Place yeast in yeast dispenser.
Place rest of ingredients in bread machine in mfgr. recommended order.
Select medium crust.
When finished baking, remove bread and cool on its side on a rack for an hour before slicing.
If using in French toast, let the bread sit on counter for 2 days, or slice and let stale.
